A diffused Museum in Porta S.Paolo
Within the urban regeneration theme this proposal aims at the realization of a temporary interactive public art installation in the part of Aurelian walls from Piramide to P.zza V. Bottego. The goal is to demonstrate how through the use of low-cost materials (a budget of 5000 euros is expected) a media environment can be created that can regenerate and re-give meaning to a part of walls of great beauty and currently disused. It would also constitute an opportunity for experimental use on an urban scale of interactive technologies.
This proposal starts from the assumption that currently in rome turism is a “stupid experience” where the city is just perceived by an audience. This museum focuses instead on the turists interaction with the city.
